Our Story
Since
2002.
It started back in 2001 by Lon Mok and Paul Chan — just a group of friends who love European car culture and the community surrounding it. We organized smaller local events using web forums, spreading the word one post at a time.
Our first large event in 2003 was called NorCal vs SoCal in San Luis Obispo. We called it a Gathering because we never liked the idea of cars being judged. Every car — stock or modified — deserves appreciation.
Two decades later, Big SOCAL EURO has grown into one of the West Coast's most anticipated automotive traditions. The spirit is exactly the same.
